![]() If you find any easier way or got any suggestions, fell free to Update the guide. I will describe how I got the trophies, trying to minimize the spoiler. Note: I haven't tested all possible combinations, solutions or dialogue options so I don't know if there are any other ways to get some trophies. Having this in mind, navigate through trophies is easier. The only exceptions are Reanimator and Brutal Honesty, The End Justifies the Means and Still Salty , that are inverted. Everything will be described in the trophy description. The trophies are listed in the order you will get them: for example, Tempting Fate can be got before Hook, Line, and Sinker so it is listed before. I will explain where and how to use the manual saves under each trophy description. There are also some missable trophies that are missables only if you go beyond the Point Of No Return in Case 9: Into the Depths. Also, the game makes many autosaves so if you just mess up, you can use a previous auto-save. However, is it possible to get it in only one playthrough, thanks to 3 "manual save slots" that you can use every time you have to make a decision. There will be trophies for some of the decision you take, making the platinum a bit complex. The nature of the game is that you have to replay it many times, changing the decisions you take and the case solutions. The worst difference between the two version, is the absence of manual saves on PS5, which will make the 1-playthrough journey harder. ![]() The related Side Case: All is Golden was added as a DLC later on so you can still play that mission if you like. Also, there is no auto-pop, the game must be purchased again and there is no cross-save so you have to get all the trophies again. It was removed from the PS5 list because of some legal issues. PS5 vs PS4: The lists are a bit different, because the PS4 version has one more silver trophy: All Sewn Up and the trohpy values were changed as well. When you move between location, you can freely explore the city, searching for collectables, materials or ammo. It might not be easy to understand but you will get it during the playthrough. You can abuse of the map markings, they can help you remember where to go and helps you to explore. After this last step, you will get another indication to proceed with the case, until you solve it. Once you find all the clues, the game will advise you and you can understand what happened by seeing some "flashbacks" that you have to put in order. You can also take pictures needed to solve the cases. They can be in plain sight or hidden so you will have to use your "special vision" pressin button. Once there, you will have to search for clues. Each case will explain the story and could have many different solutions, depending on clues and answers you will give to each character. When a Case start, you will be instructed to reach a specific location. The game is "divided" in "Cases", that are like chapters. There will be side-missions (also called side-cases), explorations, combats, crafting, farming and character building. I will give you a little explanation on the idea and the mechanics of the game: the game is a mix of an "open world" survival horror and investigation game. Since the mechanics of the game is pretty unique, you could find yourself a bit disoriented at the beginning. You will have cases to solve, each of them with multiple solutions depending on the clues you find and the dialogues choices. The game is one of those detective games like "Sherlock Holmes", with some actions in between. He is lead to Oakmont, a flooded city, where he will learn about the visions, the city and the destiny of the world. You will play the role of Charles Reed, a private investigator experiencing many horror visions. Massachussets, 1920: welcome to Oakmont, a decadent town based on H.P.
